I was very intimidated by this assignment...I will probably say that with all assignments that deal with computers. However, the hardest part of the assignment was trying to figure out what to do it on. I recently bought a new laptop and used the built in webcam and software that it came with to do my recording. It wasn't that hard at all. I played around with it a little and figured out how to add the snowing effect.
This past Friday, my boyfriend had double hernia surgery so I have been staying with him and helping him out- cooking, cleaning, taking care of his dogs, etc. The only time I have left the apartment was to get a refill on one of his perscriptions yesterday, so can we say CABIN FEVER!!! You can tell from my powerpoint that I live for anything beach, so this snow is breaking me down. I could not think of anything to do for this vodcast, so I thought in honor of all of this glorious snow, I would recite a short poem by one of my all time favorites, Shel Silverstein called Snowball. Starring along side me is Douglas' Boston Terrier, Maggie (she was very interested as to why I was talking to the computer). So even if the poem isn't that deep in meaning, Maggie's pretty adorable to look at=) Hope this makes you snow haters smile!
Molly,
ReplyDeleteVery nice vodcast. I love the special effects of the falling snow flakes, both the audio and video were very clear. Your dog is cute and what a great poem, I personally love Shel Silverstein's work, "The Giving Tree" is my favorite. You said this was hard for you to learn, but you did a great job with it!
this is the first vodcast i have seen so far, very cool effects with the snow flakes, the audio and visuals were very clear. Your dog is adorable in this video! I want a dog now!! hahah good job
ReplyDeleteGreat! I liked the snowflakes and the dog :) I could hear you clearly. The poem was nice too. I never used to be a snow hater but this winter has changed my mind.
ReplyDeleteI love it. The snowflakes add a wonderful effect to it. The dog added a nice touch as well. I used to hate the snow, but now I love it. I am always so excited when it snows. ^_^
ReplyDeleteWell done. I loved the snow effect and the dog in the scene. I hate the real snow just like you and I'm not sure how much more I can take! ARRRGH! I hope your boyfriend is up and at 'em soon so you can take a break from being inside. But it's pretty cold outside too, so... you win some you lose some. Happy Heart Day.
